Zelensky holds meeting on situation at front and ammo supplies

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff on Tuesday.

The participants heard reports on the overall operational situation at the  battlefield and the situation at the frontline within the areas of responsibility of the operational and strategic military groups, Ukrinform reports, citing the President's press service.

In addition, the intelligence leadership informed about the likely actions of the aggressor state in the near future.

The participants of the meeting also analyzed the state of the supply of ammunition to the units.

According to the  Office of the President of Ukraine, they also continued to consider the issue of manning the newly created brigades of the Defense Forces with personnel, weapons, and military equipment.

The members of the Staff also discussed the issue of improving the effectiveness of the command and control system and the interaction of various groups of the security and defense forces of Ukraine during combat missions.

The meeting was attended by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov, commanders of the military services and operational areas, and Chief of the Operational Department Andriy Yermak.

The meeting was also attended by members of the government, heads of security, and law enforcement agencies.
