Death toll in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk region rises to four

Law enforcement officers have launched an investigation into Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region, which took place on October 23, 2022. Four civilians were reported killed.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

On October 23, 2022, Russian troops opened fire on the city of Bakhmut and the urban-type settlement of Kurdiumivka with the Grad and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

As a result, four civilians died under the rubble of houses, and two more received injuries of various severity levels.

Enemy projectiles caused damage to apartment blocks, detached houses, local hospital and cars.
