Eight civilians killed, 33 injured in Russia’s shelling of Ukraine on Sept 17

Eight civilians were killed and 33 injured in Russia’s shelling of the territory of Ukraine on September 17, 2022.

The relevant statement was made by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The effects of the Russian armed aggression. Casualties among civilians: eight killed, 33 injured,” Tymoshenko wrote.

According to the data from regional military administrations, two civilians were injured in the Dnipropetrovsk region; five killed and 18 injured in the Donetsk region; one injured in the Zaporizhzhia region; one injured in the Mykolaiv region; three killed and 11 injured in the Kharkiv region.

A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and September 18, 2022, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 54,480 troops.
