Since the start of the day, Ukrainian defenders have engaged in 85 combat clashes with Russian forces, with battles still ongoing in six frontline sectors.
On May 23, the Defense Forces of Ukraine engaged in 202 combat clashes along the frontline, successfully repelling 61 enemy assaults in the Pokrovsk sector.

In the Pokrovsk direction, operators of the Corsair battalion of the 38th Separate Marine Brigade destroyed Russian self-propelled artillery systems and MT-LBs using FPV drones.
