Russian invaders attempted to break the defense of Ukrainian forces in Kharkiv Region, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine pushed them back. In addition, enemy troops unsuccessfully tried to conduct assault operations in such directions as Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Bakhmut and Avdiivka.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 43,750 Russian troops in Ukraine from February 24 to August 15, including 200 on August 14.
In Avdiivka direction, shelling was recorded near Sribne, Krasnohorivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Novobakhmutivka, and Marinka, and an airstrike was launched near Krasnohorivka. The invaders made advances on Pisky and Pervomaiske, did not succeed, and retreated.
