The European Union is shocked by and condemns the atrocities by Russian forces, exposed in the recently liberated territories of Ukraine in Khariv region, including the town of Izium.
In the recaptured city of Izium, Kharkiv region, law enforcers started the exhumation of 450 bodies of civilians found in a forest strip. 99% of the bodies showed signs of violent death.

The bodies of 22 civilians and 17 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been exhumed from a mass burial site near the recaptured city of Izium in the Kharkiv region.
