Ukraine drops to 24th spot in FIFA ranking

The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) has released an updated ranking of national football teams, the press service of the Ukrainian Association of Football has reported.

According to the report, Ukraine ranks 24th after its November matches against Poland (0-2) and Germany (1-3).

Compared to the previous FIFA ranking, Ukraine dropped by one spot and now has 1,528 points. The national team is 16th among UEFA representatives.

Ukraine's opponents in the finals of the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship occupy the following places: the Netherlands - 14th (+1), Austria - 23rd (+2), North Macedonia - 65th.

FIFA ranking as of November 26, 2020:

1. Belgium – 1,780 points

2. France – 1,755

3. Brazil – 1,743

4. England – 1,670

5. Portugal – 1,662

6. Spain – 1,645
