Ukrainian gymnast Chepurnyi wins World Cup

After securing a bronze medal at the final stage, Nazar Chepurnyi claimed overall victory in the current season’s Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in the vault event.
According to Champion, in the final of the last World Cup stage held in Osijek, Croatia, the Ukrainian gymnast scored 14.583 points and finished third, Ukrinform reports.
Britain’s Harry Hepworth took first place with 14.616 points, while Armenia’s Artur Davtyan was second with 14.583.
Earlier, Nazar won two gold medals at the opening World Cup stages – in Baku, Azerbaijan, and Cottbus, Germany. As a result of the three stages, Chepurnyi became the overall World Cup winner in the vault.
