Svitolina retains 5th place in WTA rating

Ukraine’s No.1 tennis player Elina Svitolina has remained in fifth place in a new ranking of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) released on September 28.
WTA ranking is headed by Australian Ashleigh Barty. She is followed by Simona Halep from Romania, Naomi Osaka from Japan, and Karolina Pliskova from the Czech Republic, Ukrinform reports.
Ukraine’s Dayana Yastremska has remained in 28th place and Kateryna Kozlova in 99th place. Katarina Zavatska ranks 112th, Marta Kostyuk - 119th, Lesia Tsurenko - 137th, and Anhelina Kalinina - 153rd.
