Manager confirms Usyk's heavyweight debut on Oct 12

Former world cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk's manager, Egis Klimas, has confirmed that the Ukrainian boxer will make his heavyweight debut on October 12.
The bout will be held at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Klimas wrote on his Instagram account.
Earlier, Usyk had to fight Cameroonian Carlos Takam, but the latter has recently signed a contract with the Star Boxing promotion firm and will most likely not be able to enter the ring on October 12 against the Ukrainian.
