Svitolina beats Kasatkina to reach San Jose quarterfinals

Ukraine's top-seeded tennis player Elina Svitolina has won through to the quarterfinals at the Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic in San Jose, the United States.
Svitolina defeated Russian Daria Kasatkina 6-3, 6-1 on Wednesday, July 31, Ukrinform reports.
In the next round, the Ukrainian will take on No. 7 seed Maria Sakkari from Greece, who took down Japanese Mayo Hibi 4-6, 6-4, 6-2.
The Mubadala Silicon Valley Classic will be held until August 4.
