Ukraine leaders congratulate Lomachenko on victory

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman have congratulated Ukrainian boxer Vasyl Lomachenko on defeating Colombian Miguel Marriaga.
"Yes! Vasyl Lomachenko confidently beat Miguel Marriaga and defended his WBO champion title. I sincerely congratulate our champion. Glory to Ukraine!" Poroshenko wrote in his greetings on Facebook.
Groysman also greeted the boxer on Facebook: "I congratulate Ukrainian Vasyl Lomachenko on his victory over Miguel Marriaga and the defense of a WBO championship title. You put up a good show, you are the best!"
Lomachenko defeated Marriaga in Los Angeles on August 5. He knocked his opponent down twice and won by one-sided seventh-round knockout. Lomachenko made his third defense of the junior lightweight title.
