Shark in Ocean Plaza shopping mall in Kyiv alive

KYIV, January 16 /UKRINFORM/. Reports about the death of a shark in the Ocean Plaza shopping mall in Kyiv have not been confirmed, the Levy Bereg online newspaper (LB.ua) has reported.

"The shark cheerfully swims in the aquarium. It is surrounded by a crowd of visitors: people take photos of the fish and resent the fact that the shark is kept in such a small tank. The management of the shopping mall hired a guard who does not allow visitors to touch the glass aquarium," reads the report.

Sellers from a boutique near the aquarium said that the shark had been given an injection to support its vital functions. Before the injection the shark was lying on the bottom and showed almost no signs of life. Social networks spread reports that the shark had died.
