Sikorski: Ukraine targets military sites in Russia, while Putin attacks Ukrainian churches
He made this statement on Wednesday during a press conference in Warsaw, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
"Ukraine attacks military targets, such as ports used for transshipping oil that finances Putin's war machine, while Russia attacks churches. I hope this will give food for thought to all those religious or pseudo-religious fanatics who see Russia as a bastion of Christianity. This is the kind of 'Christianity' practiced by former KGB colonel Vladimir Putin, sending drones at churches. And I hope this will also sober up those in Poland who try to incite hostility against the victims of war – the victims of aggression from Ukraine," Sikorski stressed.
As previously reported, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha called on UNESCO Director-General Khaled El-Enany to respond decisively to Russia's strike on the central part of Lviv, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
On March 24, Russian forces launched more than 550 attack drones against Ukraine during the day. In total, over the course of 24 hours, Russia used nearly a thousand strike UAVs, including Shahed drones, "Gerbera," and other types.
