Tusk clashes with Nawrocki over his visit to Hungary

Ukrinform
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk criticized the visit of President Karol Nawrocki to Budapest, claiming that its first consequence was Hungary halting gas supplies to Ukraine – something that benefits Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

He wrote this on social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.

"There is already a first effect of Karol Nawrocki's visit to Budapest. Prime Minister Orbán has stopped gas supplies to Ukraine. Putin is pleased," Tusk emphasized.

Nawrocki responded in the comments under Tusk's post by sharing a photo of Tusk shaking hands with Putin, asking whether that was the same Putin being referred to.

As previously reported, Tusk had earlier reacted to Nawrocki's visit, stating that supporting Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and his political force ahead of the April parliamentary elections contradicts Poland's national interests.

President Nawrocki met with Orbán in Budapest on Monday.
