Zelensky met with President of Cyprus
He announced this on social media X, according to Ukrinform.
"A fruitful meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky weeks after my visit to Kyiv. Cyprus reaffirms its steadfast commitment to Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity," the Cypriot leader wrote.
He added that Cyprus, a country that still “suffers from the consequences of illegal invasion and prolonged military occupation,” fully understands what is at stake in Ukraine.
“Ukraine will be a central priority of our Presidency, and will work to ensure sustained support at all levels. We stand firmly with you as you work for a just and lasting peace, firmly rooted on the UN Charter and fully respecting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity,” Christodoulides said.
As reported by Ukrinform, President Zelensky arrived today on a visit to the Republic of Cyprus.

The program of Zelensky's visit includes meetings with Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides, Archbishop Georgios of Cyprus, as well as joint talks with European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
In the evening, Zelensky will take part in the opening ceremony of the Republic of Cyprus' presidency of the Council of the European Union.
