On the night of Tuesday, April 29, drones attacked an oil refinery in Orsk, Russia, and an industrial facility in the Perm Krai.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the ASTRA Telegram channel.

According to ASTRA’s OSINT analysis, drones attacked the Orsknaftorgsintez oil refinery in Orsk.

Earlier, Mayor Artem Vorobyov confirmed the attack on the region, urging residents not to go outside or approach windows.

In addition, temporary restrictions on aircraft arrivals and departures have been imposed at Orsk Airport.

Dmitry Makhonin, Governor of the Perm Krai, confirmed the attack on his region.

“Today, an enemy drone struck one of the industrial sites in the Perm Municipal District. Employees were evacuated. There were no casualties. A fire broke out at the facility. Operational and emergency services are on the scene. The ‘Drone Danger’ alert remains in effect in the region,” Makhonin wrote.

Local residents report seeing a large number of ambulances and fire trucks in the Bashkultayev area.

Orsknefteorgsintez PJSC is one of Russia’s largest oil refineries, located in the city of Orsk in the Orenburg Region.

Its refining capacity is approximately 6 million tons of crude oil per year. The plant produces a wide range of products: gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, bitumen, jet fuel, and other petroleum products.

The Orsk Oil Refinery plays a key role in supplying petroleum products to the Urals and the Volga region, with some of its output destined for export.

The facility had already come under attack in October and November 2025.

As reported by Ukrinform, on Monday night, drones again attacked an oil refinery in the city of Tuapse in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai, resulting in a fire at the facility’s tank farm.
