Zelensky: some countries in Coalition of Willing ready to provide support on ground
The head of state made this statement during a joint press conference with Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof in The Hague. Ukrinform broadcast the event.
“You know, we have more than 30 countries in the Coalition of the Willing, and each country already understands its role or its volume of supplies. Some are ready to provide only intelligence, others are ready to provide troops in Ukraine - boots on the ground. We have this in the document,” Zelensky said.
He stressed that the leaders of the Coalition of the Willing agreed not to disclose the document on the coalition's activities, as it will only be ready to provide security guarantees to Ukraine after the ceasefire.
"It was a joint decision, meaning that after this phase, they will be ready, and you will see what each country can provide. There are different statuses, according to their own constitutions. I mean different statuses of countries, so they can provide different things. This is happening under the leadership of France and Britain as of today. They have developed this joint plan, but there are many countries that are really ready to help," the President said.
As reported, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said today that the Coalition of the Willing has prepared military plans to ensure security in the air, at sea, and on land, as well as to strengthen Ukraine's military capabilities.
