Day of mourning in Kramatorsk for victims of Russian attack

A day of mourning has been declared today in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, for those who died as a result of the Russian bombing on May 5.

According to Ukrinform, the Kramatorsk City Council announced this on Telegram.

“We urge the residents of Kramatorsk and businesses of all forms of ownership to lower their flags or mark them with black ribbons on May 6, 2026,” the statement reads.

The city council expressed its sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.

As reported, on May 5, the Russians struck Kramatorsk with Molniya-2 UAVs and three aerial bombs, killing six people and wounding 13 more civilians.
