Zelensky, EU leaders discuss 'drone wall,' opening of first cluster in EU membership talks

He disclosed details of the meeting in a post on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"I had a meeting with President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Council Antonio Costa, and Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen. We focused discussions on supporting Ukraine's European integration and opening the first cluster together with Moldova, on our readiness to join the Drone Wall initiative and share our own experience, on the use of frozen Russian assets and new financial instruments to support Ukraine, as well as on the importance of adopting the 19th package of EU sanctions against Russia," Zelensky said.

He expressed gratitude to partners for their support and for a shared understanding of the importance of unity and joint work for common security.

"It is important that Europe’s role is tangible, and we count on even more active work in all areas," Zelensky added.

On October 2, Zelensky is participating in the seventh European Political Community Summit, held in Copenhagen.
