Zelensky, Guinea-Bissau president discuss destructive activities of Wagner PMC in Africa

President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed with the President of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embal, the situation on the battlefield, as well as an attempted mutiny of the Wagner PMC in Russia and its destructive activities in African countries.
The relevant report was posted on the Telegram channel of President Zelensky, Ukrinform reports.
“I had a substantive phone call with the President of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embaló. Thank you for supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. I informed him about the situation on the battlefield. We discussed the consequences of the so-called Wagner group's attempted coup and its destructive activities in Africa,” Zelensky noted.
The Presidents also agreed to intensify cooperation and contacts between Ukraine and Guinea-Bissau at both bilateral and multilateral levels.
As reported, the President of Guinea-Bissau, Umaro Sissoco Embal, visited UKraine on Ocotober 26, 2022.
