Zelensky appoints chairman of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Andriy Boychuk as the Chairman of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration.

According to Ukrinform, the relevant decree No. 585/2020 was signed by the President on December 24, the press service informs.

"Presenting an official certificate in the Office of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky wished the new chairman of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration inspiration and hard work for the benefit of the region," reads the statement.

Andriy Boychuk was born in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk in 1976. In 2000, he graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk State Technical University of Oil and Gas (mechanical engineer). He worked in the companies for maintenance of main gas pipelines.

Since 2010, Boychuk has held various positions at JSC Ukrtransgaz. In 2014-2015, he was the Director of the Department for Functioning and Reform of Oil and Gas Sector at the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.
