Ukraine's president, Spain's parliamentary speaker discuss defense cooperation

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky shared details of the meeting on Facebook.

"First and foremost, we discussed defense cooperation: air defense, and the development of the PURL and SAFE programs. We share the same understanding that Europe must be self-sufficient in protecting its skies from ballistic missiles, drones, and other threats," he said.

The parties also discussed in detail the Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine and efforts to return children abducted by Russia.

Zelensky thanked Spain's parliament, government, and people for their support for Ukraine.

"We value all the political decisions adopted since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, particularly those related to military and humanitarian assistance. This is what truly helps us defend ourselves against Russian aggression," he said.
