SAPO: Yermak holds four diplomatic passports, border crossing data deleted from system
Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO) prosecutor Valentyna Hrebeniuk said this during a High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) hearing on the selection of a measure of restraint for Yermak, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"Andriy Yermak has four diplomatic passports," Hrebeniuk said.
She noted that data on Yermak's border crossings since November 20, 2025 have been removed from the Arkan system.
Earlier, SAPO head Oleksandr Klymenko stated that the prosecutor's office would request that Yermak be placed under arrest with bail set at UAH 180 million.
On May 11, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and SAPO served Yermak with a notice of suspicion in a case involving the legalization of UAH 460 million during the construction of elite cottages near Kyiv.
On May 12, anti-corruption authorities approved suspicion notices for six more members of the organized group in the same case, including a former deputy prime minister, a businessman (one of the leaders of a criminal organization exposed in November 2025 as part of the special operation codenamed "Midas"), and others.
According to investigators, between 2021 and 2025, the suspects laundered more than UAH 460 million through the construction of a cottage complex in Kozyn, Kyiv region. The project involved building four private residences with auxiliary buildings and a spa area on land plots totaling about eight hectares.
Part of the funds used for construction was obtained through a "laundering facility" controlled by a businessman – the future owner of one of the residences. This amounts to nearly $9 million.
Law enforcement officials say the construction was financed, in particular, using funds obtained through corruption schemes at Energoatom, the exposure of which became known during the investigation of the Midas case.
Among the suspects in the Midas case are former Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Chernyshov and businessman Tymur Mindich. On the eve of being served with a suspicion notice, Mindich left for Israel. Subsequently, NABU submitted documents for his inclusion on an Interpol wanted list. The HACC chose a preventive measure for Chernyshov in the form of detention with the possibility of bail set at UAH 120 million, which was paid in full.
On November 28, 2028, President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Yermak, who had earlier submitted a resignation letter, from the position of Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
