U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary George Kent arrives in Kyiv

U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of State George Kent has arrived in Kyiv to discuss with Ukrainian officials the further development of partnership, reforms in Ukraine and Russian aggression.

The U.S. Embassy in Ukraine has reported this on its official Facebook page.

“We welcome Deputy Assistant Secretary George Kent back to Kyiv for meetings with Ukrainian officials about #USUkrainePartnership, Ukraine’s political and economic reforms, and Russian aggression,” reads the report.

The Embassy also added that during a breakfast with Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, Deputy Assistant Secretary George Kent “reiterated strong U.S. support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and emphasized U.S. condemnation of Russia’s destabilizing move to provide passports to Ukrainian citizens”.
