"The development and proper use of the transit potential of Ukraine and Turkey is a promising area. New air and ferry routes will be created between our states," Poroshenko said.

In addition, during the negotiations, the parties discussed the cooperation in the energy sector. "Our state has considerable experience and developed scientific and practical base for promoting the development of nuclear energy in Turkey. In particular, this concerns the training of Turkish specialists," Poroshenko noted.
