Decentralization is possible only after adoption of a number of laws on administrative and territorial structure and making amendments to the Constitution of Ukraine.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services Hennady Zubko said this in an interview with "Voice of Ukraine".

"In order to develop such important laws as the issue on administrative and territorial structure and the abolition of regional state administrations, it is necessary to adopt amendments to the Constitution. This is an extremely important issue," Zubko said.

The Vice Prime Minister also recalled that the Parliament had already registered 10 bills related to the work of established united territorial communities.
