Emergency power outages implemented across Ukraine

As a result of a massive missile and drone strike on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, emergency power outages have been introduced in several regions of the country.

Ukrinform reports this, citing Ukrenergo.

“Restoration work will begin as soon as the security situation allows,” the statement said.

Ukrenergo added that the emergency outages will be lifted once the energy system stabilizes.

According to DTEK, emergency outages are currently in effect in Kyiv, Kyiv region, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Overnight, Russian forces launched a large-scale combined strike on Ukraine using missiles and drones.

A nationwide air raid alert was issued.
