Three more countries interested in Ukraine’s drone defense experience – Zelensky
The head of state made the statement during a conversation with journalists, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
“We have an agreement on ten-year partnerships with three countries (Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE – ed.). Ukrainian companies will work with the military of these countries to protect certain facilities. My task is to negotiate the scope, services, and types of weapons. Security talks are currently underway with Oman, and we are also in discussions with Kuwait and Bahrain – this is in addition to the countries we have already agreed with, and everyone has seen it,” Zelensky said.
Regarding Oman, the President noted that negotiations are ongoing on broader agreements and systemic cooperation similar to what already exists with Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, where groups of Ukrainian specialists are currently working.
As previously reported, on March 28 in Doha, Volodymyr Zelensky agreed with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on a mutually beneficial defense partnership lasting at least 10 years.
A similar agreement was signed with Saudi Arabia on March 27. In addition, a defense cooperation agreement was also signed with the United Arab Emirates.
