President Volodymyr Zelensky said that after a meeting with Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko, it was agreed that the government would adopt a resolution to maintain a fixed price for natural gas for domestic consumers.

The head of state announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“We discussed the situation in the gas sector, increasing gas reserves, and providing for the people separately. We agreed that in the near future, the government will adopt a resolution that will maintain a fixed price for natural gas for domestic consumers,” Zelensky said.

He noted that a decision had already been made to impose a moratorium on disconnecting consumers in frontline communities from energy supplies.
