Ukrzaliznytsia, General Electric sign Memorandum of Cooperation

On July 21, Ukraine's railway operator PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia and U.S. General Electric Corporation signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the sphere of locomotive modernization, the press service of the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry reports.
“GE and PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia signed a Memorandum aimed at enhancing the cooperation in the sphere of development and modernization of diesel locomotives of PJSC Ukrzaliznytsia using GE advanced technologies,” reads a report.
The Memorandum covers a wide range of GE technology use to meet growing needs of Ukraine for a modern transport infrastructure and taking into account many years' experience of GE in implementing similar projects around the world, according to the Infrastructure Ministry.
