The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi briefed the head of the European Union Military Committee, General Sean Clancy, on the current situation on the contact line.

The European Council has adopted a voluntary financial contribution from Norway in the amount of 1 billion Norwegian kroner (EUR 86 million) to assist the Ukrainian army within the framework of the European Peace Facility.
The first EUR 428 million tranche under the "Danish model" will arrive in the near future and be used for the production of artillery, attack drones, missiles, and anti-tank weapons.
Ukraine has made targeted investments in drone production, therefore it is capable of producing up to 10 million drones per year, and is no longer dependent on external suppliers, including China, which recently redirected supplies of its drones from Ukraine to Russia.
The Verkhovna Rada approved bills 13305 and 13306, which exempt from import duty and VAT the import of fiber optics for drone production.

Following the meeting of the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group in the Ramstein format (UDCG), which took place today in Brussels, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine announced the creation of a new initiative in defense production together with partners, which should mark a "strategic shift".
Military aid from partners in 2025 will exceed the levels of all previous years of a full-scale invasion.

The agreements reached during the meeting between the Ukrainian and German defense ministers are designed to significantly bolster Ukraine’s defense capabilities. They include funding for long-range weapons systems and advanced air defense systems.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius signed an agreement in Berlin on Wednesday on financing the production of long-range weapons in Ukraine.
Germany will finance the production of Ukrainian long-range weapon systems, and there will be no restrictions on the range of their use.
