Ukraine, Israel to cooperate in cybersecurity, communications and medicine – NSDC

Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to Ukraine Joel Lion today, according to the NSDC’s press service.
"During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the security situation in the Middle East and in the world, and discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation and prospects for its deepening," the report says.
The NSDC secretary emphasized that Ukraine and Israel are united by a great common history and interests, so "we are bound to close cooperation". Among the key areas of cooperation, Danilov named cybersecurity, the communication industry, and modern medicine.
In his turn, Mr. Lion assured that Israel will further support Ukraine and expressed confidence in the success of practical cooperation between the two states.
