Militants launched 15 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Militants launched 15 attacks on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in ATO area in Donbas over the past day. Four Ukrainian servicemen were wounded.

This is reported by the ATO press center.

The tensest situation was observed in Luhansk direction, where Russian-backed militants fired grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms at Ukrainian strongholds near Novooleksandrivka (65km west of Luhansk). As a result, one Ukrainian serviceman was wounded. In addition, ATO troops came under enemy fire outside Trokhizbenka (33km north-west of Luhansk).

In Donetsk direction, the number of fire provocations slightly decreased. Nevertheless, illegal armed formations opened fire from weapons on infantry fighting vehicles and heavy machine guns near Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk), where one Ukrainian soldier was wounded. Terrorists also fired machine guns outside Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk).

In Mariupol direction, two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in the enemy shelling of Shyrokyne (20km east of Mariupol). Militants also launched attacks on Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk) and Talakivka (20km north-west of Mariupol), using anti-tank grenade launchers and heavy machine guns.
