Russian forces strike Kherson again, injuring two and causing water outages
The city’s military administration reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
As a result of the enemy attack, a 31-year-old woman suffered a concussion, blast and closed head injuries, and a shrapnel wound to her left leg. She was in her apartment at the time of the strike.
The victim was taken to the hospital. Doctors assess her condition as moderate.
Later, the city administration reported another victim of this attack. A 53-year-old woman was also taken to the hospital; she suffered a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to the chest.
Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson City Administration, added that the water supply network in the Shumensky microdistrict was damaged by the enemy strike—leaving about 20 high-rise buildings without water.
Water utility specialists are assessing the extent of the damage. Shanko assured that emergency repair work will begin at the earliest opportunity.
As reported by Ukrinform, on April 3, the Russian army struck the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson with guided aerial bombs, killing a 60-year-old woman and wounding a man.
