Five injured in overnight Russian attacks on Odesa

Residential buildings and social infrastructure facilities, including a hospital, kindergarten, and school, were damaged in central Odesa as a result of two waves of Russian attacks overnight.

Serhii Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Following two waves of enemy attacks last night, residential buildings and social infrastructure facilities – a hospital, kindergarten, and school – were damaged in the central part of the city. Emergency headquarters have been deployed, and municipal services are working at the scene," the statement reads.

Currently, five people are known to have been injured. They are receiving all necessary medical assistance.

Earlier reports said that series of explosions were heard in Kyiv during an air raid alert, as Russia launched a ballistic attack on the capital.
