Ukraine is prepared to export naval drones and certain artillery systems.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this at a meeting with journalists, Ukrinform reports.

"We are ready to work with naval drones. We have more of them than we currently use. They are used by our Navy, the Security Service of Ukraine, Special Operations Forces, and Main Intelligence Directorate. There are definitely twice as many as we deploy. In my opinion, we also have other types of weapons, including artillery systems, though, of course, there can never be too many of those," Zelensky said.

At the same time, he noted that not all domestically produced weapons can be exported.

According to him, "our [defense industry] is currently producing a lot, and that requires significant budgets."

Presidential Adviser Oleksandr Kamyshin added at a briefing that the exports will involve categories of weapons where Ukraine's production capacity exceeds the purchasing capacity of the Security and Defense Forces, as well as types of weapons critically needed by Ukraine's partners, who are ready to share with Kyiv other items that are in short supply for Ukraine.

Zelensky also said that Ukraine plans to begin joint production of a certain type of weapon with international partners, which will be fully financed by those partners.

Half of what is produced will go to Ukraine's partners, and half will remain in Ukraine, Zelensky said. However, partners are ready to provide Ukraine with their share of the produced weapons for the duration of the war.
