Civilian killed as Russians attack Sumy region with drones

Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

“Overnight, the enemy attacked Trostianets community with strike UAVs. The Russians cynically targeted people — deliberately, at night, while they were sleeping. Preliminary reports indicate that one person was killed,” he said.

It is noted that rescuers have pulled three people from under the rubble; they are receiving the necessary medical assistance.

Search and rescue operations are ongoing.

As reported earlier by Ukrinform, Russian forces launched a missile strike on a village in Lebedyn community of Sumy region, wounding two women.
