Number of victims of Russian attack in Kyiv climbs to eight
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
“It has been established that on October 22, at around 11 p.m., the enemy attacked Kyiv using UAVs. As a result, eight people were injured in the Podilskyi district of Kyiv. Two of them, an 18-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman, are in serious condition,” the statement said.
According to the Prosecutor's Office, a kindergarten burned down in the Podil district of the capital as a result of the drone explosion, and a clinic, an office center, a synagogue building, and the roof of a residential building were damaged. Windows were broken in neighboring buildings.
In the Desnianskyi and Obolonskyi districts, the facades of two residential buildings and nearby parked cars were damaged.
Law enforcement agencies have launched a pre-trial investigation under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – war crimes.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of October 23, the Russian army attacked Kyiv with drones.
The attack in the Podilskyi district of the city caused fires in three residential buildings and damaged the windows of several other buildings with the blast wave. Seven casualties were reported.
