Massive attack on Dnipropetrovsk Region: three dead, several injured

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Dnipropetrovsk police on Telegram.

“On the night of July 26, the enemy launched a massive strike on the city with missiles and strike drones. Unfortunately, two people were killed and five were injured as a result of the shelling,” the report said.

The police noted that a high-rise building and a parking lot with vehicles were damaged, and the cars were burned out.

In addition, industrial enterprises and a shopping center in the Dnipro District were damaged.  “All relevant services are working on site. Groups of investigators are thoroughly inspecting the damaged objects and recording the consequences of the shelling. Mobile police stations have been set up to receive applications from citizens who have suffered as a result of the attack,” the police said.  

A 21-year-old woman who was wounded during the night attack died in a hospital in Dnipro, bringing the death toll to three.

“A 21-year-old victim of the nighttime massive attack died in a Dnipro hospital. Our condolences to her family,” said Serhii Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Lysak added that, according to updated data, two people were injured in Dnipro. Men aged 46 and 33 are in the hospital. Doctors assess their condition as moderate.

There is also damage in Kamianske. There, high-rise buildings and an educational institution have been damaged. In total, at least 200 windows have been broken. Utility services and humanitarian organizations are working at the site.
