During the week, the Ukrainian air defense forces of intercepted and destroyed 852 drones and missiles launched by Russian invaders against Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Air Force announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Over the week of February 10-16, the air defense forces shot down 852 enemy air targets: six Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles; one Kh-101 cruise missile; one guided missile; 479 Shahed attacks UAVs; 255 reconnaissance UAVs; 110 other types of UAVs.

Throughout January, Ukrainian tactical aviation conducted over 220 sorties for air reconnaissance, fighter cover, strike missions, and air support for ground units. Of these, 77 were strike missions and 79 were fighter escort operations.

Over the past week, tactical aviation of the Air Force conducted 130 sorties, including 88 for fighter cover, 36 for fire support and air support for troops, and 6 for air reconnaissance.

Pilots of the Air Force conducted dozens of air strikes on enemy positions with bombs and missiles of various types, hitting control points, areas of equipment and personnel concentration.

Throughout the week, soldiers from the Combined Rifle Brigade of the Air Force conducted 272 reconnaissance UAV flights; 72 FPV drone strikes on enemy targets.

This week, soldiers from the Combined Rifle Brigade of the Air Force carried out 64 FPV drone strikes, 144 successful payload drops from UAVs, 11 shooting engagements, and 1,100 reconnaissance UAV flights. Due to 93 payload drops and FPV, 67 enemy troops, four units of special equipment, and enemy shelters and positions were eliminated.

As reported by Ukrinform, last night the Air Force shot down 95 enemy Shahed attack UAVs, while another 46 decoy drones were lost from tracking.
