Fifteen people remain in hospitals after Russian missile attack on Zaporizhzhia

Fifteen people are still in hospitals after Russia’s missile strike on Zaporizhzhia on January 23.

Ivan Fedorov, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“There are still 15 people injured in the attack in hospitals. Their condition is assessed as moderate,” he wrote.

The regional governor also noted that 54 people who sustained injuries from Russia’s shelling in the Zaporizhzhia region in January are currently receiving treatment in medical facilities. Of these, three are reported to be in a serious condition.

He assured that medical personnel are providing all necessary assistance to the victims.

As reported by Ukrinform, in the early hours of January 23, Russian troops fired missiles at the Shevchenkivskyi district of Zaporizhzhia. One person was killed and 54 more were injured. As many 80 high-rise buildings and more than 30 private houses were damaged, while one apartment building was destroyed.
