Russia destroyed 190 medical facilities, damaged another 1,449 in Ukraine

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has damaged 1,449 medical facilities and completely destroyed another 190 across Ukraine.

"Among the medical infrastructure, the enemy has already destroyed 190 medical facilities and damaged 1,449 facilities. These are maternity hospitals, hospitals, outpatient clinics, polyclinics, etc.," the press service of the Ministry of Health said.

Medical institutions of Kharkiv, Donetsk, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Kyiv regions suffered the greatest losses.

In addition, since the war began, the Russian army destroyed 253 emergency medical vehicles and damaged 103 more. As many as 125 vehicles were captured by the enemy.

However, the Ministry of Health emphasizes that, despite systematic attacks and strikes, work on rebuilding the medical infrastructure continues in Ukraine. It has already been possible to fully restore 410 medical facilities, another 413 have been partially restored.

Most of the restored medical facilities are in Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions.

As reported by Ukrinform, two more armored ambulances were delivered to Ukraine, purchased by Medical Procurement with funds raised within the framework of the UNITED24 initiative.
