Russian forces attack two communities of Mykolaiv region at night

Russian forces shelled Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities of Mykolaiv region overnight Monday, August 21.

Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Yesterday, August 20, at 18:36, and overnight August 21, at 02:01, 02:35, the enemy shelled the populated areas of Kutsurub community from artillery and anti-aircraft guns," the report says.

Following the shelling in one of the settlements, a fire broke out in a commercial building on the territory of an enterprise, with an area of 200 square meters. There were no casualties.

In addition, overnight August 21, at 01:19, the water area and, at 02:01, the town of Ochakiv in Ochakiv community came under enemy fire. There are no casualties.

In Mykolaiv, Pervomaiske, Voznesensk and Bashtanka districts, the day and night passed relatively calmly.

As reported by Ukrinform, on August 19, Russian troops launched artillery strikes on the water area of Ochakiv community and the canal of the Dnipro-Buh estuary in Mykolaiv region.
