
Russians shell Kherson region 86 times in past day, five civilians injured

On July 1, the Russian army attacked Kherson region 86 times, injuring five people.
The head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Over the past day, the enemy launched 86 strikes, firing 475 projectiles using mortars, artillery, tanks, Grad MLRS and UAVs. The enemy fired 27 projectiles at the city of Kherson," he wrote.
According to Prokudin, the Russian military targeted the residential quarters of populated areas.
"As a result of the Russian aggression, five people, including three children, were injured," the region’s governor stressed.
As reported by Ukrinform, on July 1, the Russians shelled residential quarters of Kherson. One of the projectiles hit a house. Three children were injured.
