Two killed, eight injured in Russia’s attack on Kyiv last night

Two civilians were reported killed and eight injured, as the fragments of Russian projectiles crashed into a 24-storey apartment block in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district last night.

The relevant statement was made by Kyiv City Military Administration on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“As of now, two people were found dead. Eight persons were injured. Two of them were taken to hospital, and the rest were provided with medical aid at the scene,” Kyiv City Military Administration Head Serhii Popko noted.

The details are yet to be updated.

A reminder that, on the night of June 24, 2023, over 20 Russian missiles were destroyed by Ukraine’s air defense units within the airspace around the capital city.
