Canada gives Ukraine batch of demining suits
Two dozen special blast suits purchased by Canada have arrived in Ukraine.
That’s according to the Embassy of Canada in Ukraine, reports Ukrinform.
"Canada has just provided another 23 blast suits to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine!" reads the report message on embassy's Twitter.
It is noted that these suits will protect "the brave personnel as they clear landmines & unexploded ordnance from Ukraine’s territory, preventing needless deaths & countless injuries of Ukrainian civilians."
It should be recalled, that, according to official data, up to 30% of the Ukrainian lands have been infested by Russian mines and unexploded ordnance.
