Seven civilians injured as Russians attack four districts in Kharkiv region

On May 7, 2023, Russian troops attacked four districts in the Kharkiv regions with different weapons. Seven civilians were reported injured.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, such districts as Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv and Izium came under enemy fire. The enemy used aircraft, artillery, mortars and missiles.

As a result, seven civilians were injured. Four of them received minor injuries and did not require hospital treatment. Three persons suffered moderate injuries and were taken to hospital.

According to Syniehubov, Russian attacks caused damage to at least three detached houses and a car in the Chuhuiv district’s Vovchanski Khutory.

A woman, 67, was injured in the Chuhuiv district’s Buhaivka. She was taken to hospital in moderately grave condition.

The area of a motor vehicle fleet was hit by two Russian S-300 missiles fired at the Izium district’s Balakliia.

Demining efforts are underway in the Kharkiv region. Over the past day, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service has neutralized 21 explosive items.
