“Last night the enemy shelled Sumy Region with the Grad systems. Russian troops launched about a dozen of rockets from Russia’s Ponury,” the report states.

As a result, a detached house was damaged in one of Ukrainian settlements.

According to Sumy Regional Military Administration Head Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, last night Russian troops also opened fire on Sumy Region with artillery and mortar systems. The Ukrainian military repulsed enemy attacks. No casualties were reported.

Zhyvytskyi noted that Russians shelled the village of Dmytrivka, Okhtyrka District, at 05:30 a.m. No casualties were reported, but a civilian detached house was hit.

A reminder that the Ukrainian defense forces liberated Sumy Region from Russian invaders in early April 2022. However, Russian troops continue to open fire on the region from the territory of Russia almost every day.
