The city of Lviv will host Brave1 Defense Tech Valley 2026 on September 16-17, the largest defense technology event in Ukraine, bringing together manufacturers, investors, and international partners.

That is according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

This year's event, organized by the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Brave1 cluster, and the DefDev Foundation, is expected to serve as a platform for scaling Ukrainian defense solutions to the global level.

"Defense Tech Valley 2026 will mark the transition to the global scaling of innovations. Ukraine has already become a full-fledged player in the defense solutions market. Ukrainian manufacturers are developing joint production with partners from the United States and Europe, integrating into global supply chains, and setting new standards in defense tech," the ministry said.

The ministry also added that Ukrainian solutions are now being used not only on the battlefield in Ukraine but are also contributing to strengthening security in other regions of the world.

"Brave1 serves as a key platform for interaction between Ukrainian developers and international defense companies, facilitating technology exchange and accelerating implementation. It is in Ukraine that a new doctrine of modern warfare is being shaped, where technology determines outcomes on the battlefield," the statement added.

The event will bring together military personnel, government officials, manufacturers, investors, and other key players in the defense tech market working on the development and scaling of next-generation defense technologies.

Last year, Defense Tech Valley became the largest defense innovation event in Ukraine and one of the key events in Europe, attracting more than 5,000 participants and securing over $100 million in investments.

"The event reinforced Ukraine's status as one of the global centers for defense innovation," the ministry said.
